Mia was farting around with my mouse and now my toolbar is on the side of the screen and not at the bottom.

I don't know how to get it back to the bottom. Ought I to just give it back to her so she can fix it or can somebody tell me how to get it right?

I mean, she's looking up at me and WTF'ing like it's no big deal. I don't want to look too stupid in front of her but geez.... :(

if you cant drag it it might be locked try right clicking it and seeing it it says something along the lines of lock toolbar or unlock toolbar and click that and try again thats the best help i can give without seeing it:ninja

It says lock toolbar. This happened at work a few months ago and somebody went in at the top left of the screen and jimmied with something. I wish I paid attention now.

Thank you for trying to help me. I mean it's not the end of the world but the OCD in me is finding it a wee bit disconcerting. :D

there has to be some way to move it, I had your problem a long time ago and I solved it by dragging....not sure why it won't work for you though

Right click on it, there should be an option that says "Lock the taskbar"
or something along those lines
Uncheck that option, then left click, Hold and drag it to the bottom (It should snap into place), then right click the taskbar again then check "Lock the taskbar", it'll lock it again so it can't be moved.

It may not look the same, (I'm on windows 7) but the option is still there.
I hope that helps!

worst case then do a system restore if you have Windows.

go back a day before she messed with it. I think that would restore it.

I have done the same thing somehow a couple of times and had a pain trying to get it back the way it was.
