here is a thought

some one posts a song, drawing, video clip that they either like or made themselves a few people respond in the positive, my question is do you think the OP posted this to engage debate on it's pros cons/are they up for some mature constructive criticism? I am never sure, so i end up for the most part saying nothing, which (IMHO) is not fair to the OP if they were looking for alternative points of view ( i nearly always have one) same goes for polls, i f i consider the poll pointless is it best to shut up or say something (even politley, which I am capable of)

Well I posted this song to share it with people on here because I really like it and I think some people will enjoy it too. Same thing for my drawings/poems. But like if someone wanted whatever he posted to be rated or whatever then he'd just write "criticism/comments welcome"
There's nothing wrong with giving your opinion though.

i was not targetting you specifically, please dont think that, just your thread got me thinking, was more of a generalisation
