And you wouldn't believe the people trying to get me to send them my bank account number! :24:

But it makes me so mad! What makes them think they have the right to take my poor little pennies!

So I write them back and tell them Fuck you.

I will feel really bad if one of these people are actually sincerely looking to buy my loveseat. The posers are getting so good they sound like real people. (I know that's the point!)

But some are really good.

Did you ever "make love" on that love seat, that might increase its value Janie my girl!

I've always had good look both buying and selling on CL, but there is definitely a lot of BS to sift through.

Craigslist is good, and its bad. Its good for selling/buying, but its terrible for spam. I have met a lot of great people that help me out. I traded a les paul for a ton of audio equipment for my band, and i got the les paul back like 2 months later. That guys was awesome.

In Australia it's common practice to give your account number to people. It's not like anyone can withdraw from your account...all they can do is deposit and if some random person wants to deposit into my account, they are more than welcome!

in the us they seem to be way more lax than anyone else

consumers fall to fraud all the time - especially at the hands of banks and credit card companies

i got enrolled in this program i didn't want to be enrolled in, they charged me $150 and then REFUSED to refund it until I sent them a letter from my lawyer. (really my boss)

and that was my home local bank!
