My 9 yr old has been taking fiddle lessons for about the past 6 months. Well every Sunday her and my other 2 kiddos go to church with their great grandpa and tonight their church had a singspiration, basically where a bunch of people of nearby churches all gather together and sing and play instruments, etc. My 9 yr old (Brianna) played 2 different songs. The service started at 6pm and didnt get over with until 9pm!
Anyhow, as they were getting ready to dismiss for everyone to go home, this gentleman sitting in the very back row stood up and said he had something he wanted to say. He said he had just gotten out of prison where he had been for the past 15 yrs and said that he is a devil worshiper and has 666 tattooed on his arm. By that time Im thinking oh my goodness what is fixing to happen. And then he said "And where is that little girl" He was talking about my daughter. And then he said "That little girl to be only 9 yrs old has got some talent and she touched my heart, and I was back here crying. She really moved me. I think that is a sign that I need Jesus instead of the devil" :eek
You should have seen me! I was crying and blubbering like an idiot at the fact that someone was blessed because of my daughter. And of course that is the first time I have been to church in yrs.

Wow, that's weird! I'm sure Grace would say that the Lord works in mysterious ways :)

That's a great thing to hear, Amy. That your daughter can touch someone with her talent, already, at such a young age...WOW! What a great moment. All your pushing her to keep up her practive worked.

I would have been blubbering and crying, too.

I'm in tears.

What a wonderful thing to help bring someone out of death and into life. And what a privilege to be used by God in that fashion. Children really radiate God's love. They put their little hearts out there with such faith; so beautiful to behold.

So many think heaven is just for when we die, but it isn't. It is for now, for heaven on earth - for it to live inside of us, so we can walk in it everyday. It is a step above the fray.

Sounds like your little girl touched a cold heart and warmed it. God does indeed work in mysterious ways.

I bet you had goosebumps. I know I would have.

Its so touching to a parents heart when you hear complete strangers bragging about your child. It melted my heart. Its a shame that her dad was "too busy" to come see her:mad
But my mom and dad came to see her and my mom was crying too and my dad gave Brianna the biggest hug Ive ever seen come from him. It was just all so awesome
