I was at work last night and I was in this 88 yr old mans room letting him know that the Dr decided to admit him into the hospital because he had been having chest pains.
Anyways, his wife is sitting beside his bed in her wheelchair holding his hand. And when I told him that he would be staying in the hospital, her face turned red and the tears started rolling down her face.
The 88 yr old mans grandson turned and looked at me and told me that he is 88 yrs old and she is 93 yrs old and their 1 year anniversary is coming up! :eek I was almost in tears just watching how incredibly sweet this little couple was.
