Tonight starts a generation gap bowling league at the local bowling lanes. The teams consist of 1 adult and 1 child. Often there are more kids wanting to do it than parents available. Families with several kids or kids who simply do not have a parent to bowl with at all. I volunteered to bowl if a child needed an adult. Looks like I am bowling tonight.:thumbup

My daughter bowls for fun.
My son has bowled competitively.

They both own their own balls & shoes.
The generation gap league is 21 and under and an adult. My son is 21 but away at college.

Really got disturbed last night. The 13 year old girl I am on the team with seems the bowling last night was interrupting her socializing. When it was her turn to bowl she rolled two quick balls & ran off to be with her friends. She did not bowl well and did not seem to care. Which affected my bowling because I quit trying to carry her. I will stick it out because I committed to it. I think I will just bowl an adult league from now on after this summer.

Nice series! My average is a 199...or was last season. I'm not bowling in a league atm, just tournaments when I can. Most of my family bowls...it's a lot of fun! Best of luck the rest of the season. Hopefully before the end of the season, the girl that is on your team will show a little more interest.

LOL...I'd say so! We all have our bad games. Just consider it practice for next season Have you ever rolled a 300? I have rolled a couple of 299's, but never a 300. My Step-Dad has missed it probably 9-10 times. My Uncle, who I bowl with has rolled 4 - 300's.

Best game ever 279. I have probably half a dozen of those. Probably hit every number under that as well. I seem to be good for up to 9 strikes in a row maximum.
