I have a new laptop! But not how I had planned: I had ordered an excelleny spec Dell Vostro from dell early feb, and was told the delivery date was 21st Feb. OK, but I am not the most patient person in the world. I rang them pretty much everyday for updates as their website checker wasnt being updated, and even got a friend of mine with some sway in Dell to try and boost my laptop's build priority.
Then 48 hours before delivery I got an email saying the delivery date was now extended for another 2 weeks (no explanation why), which happens to be when I am away in Holiday. Bastards. So I gave them approx 6 hours to get an assurance to be delivered this week before I cancelled the order and went and bought one in the shops.
I now have a shiny new HP Pavillion laptop and am quite happy with it, although the spec isnt as good as the Dell sadly, but pretty close...
Feeling very burnt by online shopping now though, just wanted to tell everyone!
