Left my friends house after playing some madden 06 and mario party.

Cruisin down Green Rd and then made a right onto US930 towards the highway to go home. My radar detector was going insane, so I was doing the limit.

Well, as I made my turn onto US930, a cop was pulling up green and turned into the BP. I just continued at the speed limit and then noticed some Crown Vic headlights closing on me fast.

By the time I got to minnich road he flipped his lights, so I pulled to the side off the rumble strips just where US930 because US30 and becomes a 4 lane split US route.

The reason he pulled me over was because I had my driving lamps on, but not my headlights. [8|]

But by the time he got up to me and yanked me, I had turned them on. He was like "I see you've corrected the problem already." wtf? What problem? ONE CAR on the road, and my driving lamps are bright enough to be used as headlamps.

So as I got my license and registration out I told him I haven't had a ticket for 5 years let alone anything else. "Well that's good." No shit bitch!


He takes my license and registration, runs it, and comes back within 2 minutes saying "I'm gonna let you go with a verbal warning."

I said thanks, but thought "if I got a ticket for this, you better believe I'd be in court fighting this bullshit."

Then I decided since he was wasting my time, I was gonna waste his time and started asking him a bunch of BS questions semi-pertaining to the reason he pulled me over.

"Is it illegal to drive during the day with just your parking lamps on?" No.

"Is it illegal to drive during the day with no lights on?" No.

"Is it illegal to drive diuring the day with your headlamps on?" "No, because you're not obstructing anyone."

How was I obstructing anyone with my driving lamps on? wtf. Go catch a criminal and leave me the fuck alone.

James you're a dumbass for driving at night with just your foglamps on. it doesnt matter if your fog lamps are bright enough to light up the road or not, you still have to have your headlights on when driving at night even if you are out in BFE when driving around. heres the Indiana law on this:

IC 14-16-1-21
Lights and brakes
Sec. 21. (a) A vehicle may not be operated between sunset and sunrise unless the vehicle has at least one (1) headlight and one (1) taillight.

so...yeah you violated the law because you have to have at least 1 headlight on when driving.

I personally think they were bored, and weren't getting many speeders possible DUI's and other, better things at 1:30 am. They just happened to see me leaving my friends house at 1:30 after having been up for 18 hours and having a Dayquil.

JD- wtf do you mean what are driving lamps? Driving lamps are white lights other than the main headlights on a car. FOG lamps are yellow lamps which will illuminate the road better than white/blue lamps in fog. I have driving lamps on my car, and they're ALWAYS on.
