going to the BEACH could be! I was amazed that I didn't get crispy, but I mostly kept slathering ont he sunscreen so I was smart about it at least. Don't want any funky tanlines for the wedding!!! I did get some new freckles though, and a new found courage to go out in the chocolate milk like ocean that is the gulf of mexico. I went with my future in laws and my neice, and it was soooo fun...I figured if a 2 year old can go out above her head then I can go out that far too...there were no jellyfish or seaweed and the ground was pure sand...that's the main reason I freak out is if I step on somehting and I can't see what it is. I am planning on going again this weekend but I NEED to find a good swimsuit. Mine is a 1 piece halter and it's kinda hard to take the straps down from the halter and not have everything fall out. I want one of those tube top kinds so i dont get funky tan lines. Anyways yeah I am home now. Hope yall missed me like i missed youuu! :D

Gulf of Mexico is pretty here in Florida. But the Atlantic is rather muddy. Never had jelly fish in the Gulf but there's a lot more seaweed.

i'm not a beach person. at all. Well in a way i am I like to sit and tan but I will not go into the ocean. And with the bathing suits, I hate tanning in them b/c of the funky tan lines...that's why I head to the nude beach!

The beach is my favourite place. I'm lucky enough to live right near the beach...I couldn't imagine living anywhere where I was not wintin walking distance of the beach. I spent enormous amounts of time at the beach n matter the weather.

I'm glad you had fun, Clare! :)

Manly beach in Sydney Australia is the best beach I've been to though I went to Bondi too which is more well known. Where I live we usually go a half hour drive to Southend on Sea, it has the longest pier in the world, 1 3/4 miles long!:)

Thank you Nyck. Yes, I ended up getting swim ear, but now that I think back clearly, it wasn't from the beach. My sis in law had a guy meet her at the hot tub at her apts that night after we got home from the beach...this guy was a total jerk and splashed me really hard in the face like 5 times, to the point where i could hardly see because i wear contacts and my eyes were burning so badly. im pretty sure there was some water that got splashed in my ears too, normally when im that drunk i dont feel pain, but it muyst have been really bad considering i did. and now the ear hurts. owwwww it hurts. I almost went to the ER it hurts so bad. But you guys know me, im a total sissy about everything. go on, roll your eyes, i know i whine a lot. :p
