How an entire generation of Americans is obese or has eating disorders...I blame it on the Flintstones. That's right, the Flintstones. Fred and Barney were pretty big guys, and they had to walk everywhere. Even when the fuckers drove the car, they were walking! They should be able to burn off a rack of dino ribs in a day of walking. So obesity MUST be genetic.
Then look at Betty and Wilma. They didn't do shit. Even in the car, they just rode, they didn't walk. But they didn't put on any weight. Only way that's possible? Binge and purge.
And the Jetsons were all skinny, sending the message it's ok to be fat because in the future, there will be a skinny pill.
And while I'm thinking about it, WTF does a space-faring, jet-car-driving civilization need a fucking sprocket for????
