On the other hand i believe that some other forms of life excist out there and maybe some are far more tecnologicaly advanced than we are and some other maybe even far behind us. Ok for instance many people involved in the holocaust were given the hope that their lord had not forsaken them giving them the hope to continue to live on for another day. The fact that each day they survived was a blow to their nazi oppressors once again created faith in their religion. thus religion or belief in religion created hope and ultimately it also worked the other way around!

Things that give hope to people can be corrosive. Just because it gives hope to some does not qualify it as truth.


Science doesn't have to explain itself because it needs no explanation. It simply explains other things.

Actually a large portion of jews thought the holocaust was brought on them as punishment from god for straying away from the Torah.

I would tend toward there being no god and no aliens, ameobas on Mars or whatever is more plausable but not intelligent (on human scale) life force. However, there isn't any absolute argument for or against, so I keep an open mind. I do object to the gods of the Bible and Koran though. I would say I enjoy life much more with my "religion". Any religion that would cause a person to hate themselves or hate their life is not something I would want to be a part of.
