I am the guy in the parking lot who always returns my shopping cart to the cart corral. I may even take those left in parking spaces to the cart corral on my way into the store. Not sure why other people just push the cart between cars and drive off.

Seriously, I'm that girl. If you're THAT frigging lazy, park next to the buggy corral so you don't have to walk far to put it up.

I just don't get it. Most times I will just carry my purchase rather than remove the cart from the store.

I have no choice but to return it at Morrisons, you put £1 in the coin slot thing and the only way to get it back is to take it back to the trolley bay.

Asda do that and I want my trolley coin back. I rarely have £1 coin on me so I have a trolley coin thing which is the same size as a £1 coin. Very handy.

I return my cart to the store and the clerks are always amazed. In fact, if a cart is in the parking lot I bring it into the store and use it. I was a brownie AND a Girl scout Fred :nod:

Some stores have their own cart collectors, whose sole job pretty much, is to collect the carts. So I don't feel totally guilty if I fail to put my cart back.

Having found shopping cart dings in my vehicle paint job. I think better of allowing them to roam loose.
