I have seen younger people change their status from in a relationship to single to in a relationship within an hour. Last night I saw someone my age change his status from Married to single. He followed it up by saying his wife no longer wished to be married. I suppose it is like advertizing you are available for a hook-up.

I have seen some strange ones of late.. but hey to each their own I guess.

There are days I no longer wish to be married.. but changing my status on FB would be pretty useless.. LOL

Human nature is to occasionally look around and go this is not making me happy I wonder if I would be happier with a change. I certainly have no desire to re-enter the dating market.

:24: I've seen the same shit. People are morons. I saw a chick I met through a friend post she was single then went on to talk about her fiance troubles and that she was moving out to two weeks later being married to the guy...

Heh...my niece found out her boyfriend was dumping her b/c my mom saw that he changed his relationship status to "single." She asked my niece if they had broken up and she said "not that I know of." She called him and he told her that he had met someone online. The next day his relationship status was "in a relationship" w/ this new girl. All that talk of being in love w/ my niece and wanting to marry her and he's in another relationship in one day AND can't even tell her to his face. Little punk ass bitch, LOL

Why bother yourself with the trivialities of other peoples lives?

A friend once pointed out that without Facebook, he wouldn't of come into contact with old lost friends/family, and in that respect I can see one advantage to having a Facebook account, but it seems for most, it's nothing more than what I'd consider "social garbage" that wastes even more of your time.

I guess I'm just too "old school" where I happen to think what I do is MY business and I don't feel like broadcasting my stupid butt mistakes in life. God, it's getting to the point in today's society where if you take the time to send a e-mail of some sort instead of taking the time to write (thank you card, get well card...) or call you aren't considered lazy (per Natasha's example as well).

If you want to get laid, just go to match.com LOL

A friend was saying yesterday that a girl she went to highschool with (now 40 years old) changed her status to "widowed".

People were shocked and asked what happened...and she was replying "wishful thinking".

That's just sick.

Facebook is a waste. Zero people care that I enjoyed pancakes on sunday morning. If I want to know something about someone I will just by asking them. I don't care to have one. I think the whole concept of putting yourself out there is weird.
