It's Wednesday. With the weekend around the corner. What are you plans for the weekend ? Or if you have no plans how has your week been so far ?

Mine I start a four day shift at work tomorrow. Not fun. I will get to watch football in peace though. Do some paperwork. My week has been busy so far just getting the kids settled. My daughter had her one year appointment today. I have to mow the grass this afternoon. blah.

Week has been busy and disappointing. Full time grad school and full time work is whopping my ass. I will be scrambling on the weekends, trying to study, clean, shop, prepare for the week ahead, and make sure to exercise. Hoping to see my football though.

I am going to the Renaissance Faire this weekend. I've never been before, and it looks interesting. They should have giant turkey legs there, and that's WIN.

I'll also watch the Niners, of course.

This week has been so/so. Didn't do anything spectacular and I didn't get some housework done that I wanted and I didn't exercise as much as I wanted and I'm slacking at work....wait...this week blows so far!

This weekend is going to be busy, but a piss off. I was suppose to be going to PEI for the Shellfish Festival and visit with one of my besties, but now I have the dreaded hair appt on Friday that I'm stressing about (to brunette or to not brunette, that is the question) and after that meeting up with the girls for drinks/supper. And the plan-ruining "surprise" 40th for a friend, that she's throwing for herself.

Yes. If you come via HWY 5, you can cut over to Gilroy, and Casa De Fructa is on the way. Once you're done there, get on 101, and take it to 156 W to 1. That will put you headed right toward Big Sur.

oh but I wouldn't care... ( 90% of my vacation home was wet and cold...)

And it's the after hours festivities that make that festival so fun

I love pickles, but not giant ones. I buy these jars of little snack pickles at the grocery store. I probably eat close to a jar a week, LMAO.

I dislike driving Hwy 5 given there are no scenic views and have to pass by to smell the stinking air due to those cows by Fresno county.
Would it be a longer route if i take hwy 101 back and forth to the Faire from Big Sur ?? I've had it all mapped out for Pacific Fwy 101 due to other stop overs from SLO :unsure:

And the whole day I've been thinking, it was Friday and tomorrow was Saturday. - It felt a bit bitter whenever figuring out that it's only Hump Day today. .___.

TBH, I'm not really sure if it's any longer. It probably is, since it's a coastal HWY drive, but I'd rather drive that than five.
