Halloween is a lot of fun and my family usually tries to make it an event. This year, instead of setting up the house and handing out candy. We're going to go to a festival and trick or treat at a near by neighbor hood. I was looking forward to decorating by my wife wants to take a year off. I'm already making plans for next year. How is everyone else spending their Halloween?

I love Halloween but the weather is dreadful (rainy and very windy), so I'm not going anywhere tonight. A lot of the Halloween parties were on the weekend, I feel sorry for the little ones in their costumes. They will probably all get sick going door to door, trick or treating...

I terrify children every year. That is such a lost art it seems. There should be a level of fear to counterbalance the delight of free candy. I have found the parents seem to enjoy others scaring the britches off their children more than the children really enjoy it but someone got something out of the deal. Every year is a chance for me to step up my game and I feel I really brought it this one around.

We don't celebrate Halloween in my country, we do get a few kids going around celebrating it but for the majority of us its just a regular day.

We went out trick or treating! I don't care much about Halloween, so I don't really decorate. I do give out candy. My sons and I watched "The Nightmare Before Christmas" last night. It was fun.

I don't celebrate it at all, I do buy sweets for the kids though because I remember when I was young it was a big deal. Don't bother with getting dressed up or decorating the house though. Too me the holiday has no real point.

This year wasn't as fun as most others. The weather was too cold, and the kids wanted to go home much sooner than normal. And, there was a lot less houses handing out candy this year. I guess since it was on a Wednesday a lot of people didn't do anything. My wife got roped into bringing someones little girl along with us. I normally would have been fine with another kid tagging along, but she was a handful, and it made it a little more cumbersome. Hoping next year is better.

Halloween is one of the holidays I could do without even though it is a bit entertaining. i love the costumes etc. but they way I was raised, Halloween represents negativity. The only reason I celebrate is because my 6 year makes me. If she doesn't have a costume and go trick or treating for candy she goes berzerk. No exaggeration. This year I thought I was gonna get over by telling her I wanted to give out candy to the trick or treaters, she was not having it, lol. She was okay with the idea of giving out candy but AFTER she went trick or treating herself. My baby! :)

We are not celebrating Halloween in the country where I am now living not unlike before in my home country we are preparing many candies and chocolates at home for the trick or treat to be given to the children who will visit our house. So. now I missed it a lot as well as the different costumes of the children coming to our house..:)

I didn't do anything on the 31st, but I went to go see The Exorcist at a theater on the 29th. The picture was remastered, the audio was redone at Skywalker ranch by Lucasfilms, and there were 12 minutes added. It was great.

I don't usually celebrate Halloween because I have to work that day. The only time I actually celebrate Halloween is a get-together time with my friends. Halloween is still one of my favorite holidays for years to come.
