And of course the more reasons you can immediately spot just why that is, well, you know....

*shrugs* I don't get it. But, then again, I'm not a geek.

Dude's hot, though, for an older guy.

Okay, that's Sir Patrick Stewart (Captain Jean Luc Picard) not Gandalf, Gandalf was played by Sir Ian McKellan.

Next, Harry Potter didn't use the force. That was Luke Skywalker. He was told to use the force, and it wasn't by Gandalf. It was by Obi Wan Kenobi.

OK, since I have room to scroll down now:

1) Patrick Stewart didn't play Gandalf, Ian McKellan did. (Edit: SIR Ian McKellan, sorry)
2) He also never made reference to the Force, seeing as how he played on Star Trek-The Next Generation.
3) He also definitely wouldn't have told Harry Potter to use the Force.

So since I know all those I guess that makes me a geek. But it would definitely cause a Sheldon moment in the average uber-geek. :D

Edit: And I see we posted those at about the same time. Hee, hee....

Ehhh...that's as little bit funny, then. I knew it was Patrick Stewart (seriously, he's hot, I don't care what anybody says, LOL)...and I knew it was Skywalker that was told to use the force...and I got the Harry Potter reference...but the rest was out of my grasp (I have no clue who Gandalf is :dunno). Glad my favorite resident geek could straighten me out, LMFAO :D

You've never even read the books? Well, actually, neither had I until the movies came out, then I read them before seeing the movies.

@Darrell - He was quite an accomplished Shakespearean actor prior to STTNG. He had also played Gurney on that really bad cinematic version of Dune.

I'm sorry. I have disappointed my forum geeks and should be deeply ashamed of myself.
