How to familiarize yourself with warfare technology?

Getting yourself familiar with warfare technology is a very important thing. You must have good knowledge about jet fighters, air defense systems and equipment used by navy. My own country was involved ina military conflict and this has led me to look into how modern warfare works. So, how to pursue this kind of knowledge?

I have no interest in warfare and I believe the countries world over should demilitarized and denuclearized.
