I went to the pool store and took a water sample. I needed a couple of other replacement parts then we went to Sam's Club. $300.00 disappeared in a hurry.

You can easily spend hundreds of dollars at Costco or Sam's. I love those stores but they are dangerous for my wallet.

I'm not allowing my self to spend any mony from my bank account once rent is payed and direct debits payed for 3 months. Living off tips! It's part of my 6 month plan to have a house and set up my business! I might have to hide my bank cards! I'm having serious spending withdrawals! ( I only started yesterday)

I don't think I've ever gone into Sam's and spent less than 100 dollars. I love that store but hardly go.

since we both are not working I don't miss the spending, but buying the necessities is a priority. and with prices going up its hard even without the "treats"

Sam's club has good 10% fat ground beef and the best price locally. Their prices on bacon are better than anywhere else around here too. I did buy steaks & pork chops too. I bought a pack of portobellas too. The meat & portobellas will be the entree for 13 meals. We bought a few other staples too. I usually only cook bacon on Sunday and got 6 packs.

Sam's Club actually left the area about 10 years ago....but there is another warehouse store (Bj's) here and we do buy items by the pound to exercise the more bang for the dollar...but their meat department is not the most user friendly. the butchers there do not work past 3pm and even if you do get to find a butcher they do not do as well as can be expected. they probably throw a clerk back there to fill and not really know about cuts or grind more burger for the rest of the day and explaining this to a floor manager or supervisor goes unheeded.
