Have you ever had a boss who didn’t treat you with respect? I haven’t personally experienced a toxic boss, but if I encounter a difficult boss ever, I will maintain my ground. If someone treats you poorly, you are not obligated to respect back. A "treat-as-you're-treated" approach might be the only way to maintain self-respect. What’s your take, do you leave the job or confront the difficult behaviour of your boss?

My superior was toxic. When I was new to work she treated me unfairly. I started working teaching Mathematics and Physics at the age of 20. I was hired by the University president. My superior kept on demanding of anything like buying cigarettes for her, mailing her love letter, buying something at the university canteen, and more. This angered the tenured teachers. I was young and never cared of her treatment but the tenured teachers filed a petition for our dean and she was removed.
