How Far East Can You Go Before You're Heading West?

Something I was trying to figure out earlier and now its bugging me

I think it is Christmas Island is the farthest east before you go into western territory

I don't think it's where you are so much as the direction you're traveling in? Since the earth is a sphere, you could travel horizontally and always be going east to west.... but if you did north to south, once you got to one of the poles you'd then switch.

That question makes no sence. When you are walking west your going west. Regardless of where you are standing.

If you walk west, you'll also be heading east. So it really doesn't matter.
