Celebrities and public figures face constant online scrutiny, hate campaigns, and dehumanization. Visibility makes them easy targets, while expectations of resilience silence their struggles. Does fame reduce empathy from the public? Should platforms offer stronger protections for high-exposure individuals?

Celebrities have a certain responsibilities for the society, however, when people who are experiencing day to day struggles, their anger focus towards celebrities who are showcasing their lives on social media. This is not justifiable but that's the reason why a lot of celebrities are facing digital violence.

I think fame often erodes public empathy; people assume visibility equals privilege, overlooking the human behind the persona. Platforms should provide stronger protections, like harassment filters and reporting tools, while promoting digital literacy to remind audiences that public figures also experience real stress and vulnerability.
