It is important for kids to become confident. You need to encourage independence and praise effort to boost kids’ confidence. Model resilience, set clear boundaries, and foster open communication. Create a supportive environment where mistakes are learning opportunities, helping children grow into self-assured individuals.
What builds confidence in your kids? How do you handle your child’s setbacks?

I am a parent of two kids, one 7 years old and another 2 years old. You cannot parent kids with a 5 point guide, what works best for me might not work for you. You need to analyze your kid's psychology to understand their needs. I try to give a lot of exposure to build confidence in my kid

You can raise confident children by developing self-esteem with praise for effort, like cheering their soccer practice in the backyard.. Create a safe space for mistakes, discussing a bad grade in their cozy room, and expose them to diverse activities, like art classes at the community center. Listen actively to their dreams during park walks, and set clear boundaries, such as screen-time limits, to build security and self-assurance.

The thing is that Children learn by observing their parents, so be a role model of confidence and positive self-talk, Practice positive self-talk and make them
embrace imperfections: Show that it's okay to make mistakes and learn from them.

Explaining to them from a young age that every defect they find in themselves is an opportunity they have to improve it or turn it into a virtue with great effort, and that the vast majority of things have a solution.
