Jealousy can ruin your relationship, especially if you continue to be jealous about even minor things, and you always try to control your partner. It is a good idea to have open communication, find ways to build more trust, and so on. How do you deal with jealousy in a relationship?

I always think that jealousy in a romantic relationship is always borne out of complex issues. Anyone that has a positive self esteem won't be unnecessarily jealous of their partners. That jealousy can mess with the mental health of the partner. People should build their self esteem first before thinking of romantic relationship.

Jealousy is a common human behavior and emotion, however, the only problem is if it is damaging your relation.

I deal with jealousy by first acknowledging it without judgment, then communicating openly with my partner about feelings. Understanding the root cause, insecurities or misunderstandings, helps address it calmly.

Jealousy can damage trust if it is ignored, so I try to acknowledge it instead of pretending it doesn’t exist. Talking openly about what triggered the feeling usually helps. I also remind myself to focus on facts, not assumptions, and work on building confidence rather than comparison.
