With states diverging radically on abortion, federalism shows its ideological tensions.
Should there be a national standard, or is this the cost of state sovereignty?

Abortion laws in the U.S. highlight deep ideological divides, with states using federalism to either restrict or protect access. Recent shifts, especially post-Roe v. Wade reversal, show how conservative and liberal states assert autonomy to reflect their values.

They say the Bible prohibits prohibit abortion. I don't think this argument is justifiable. The Bible prohibits a lot of things, why do that continue to do it? While abortion does have ethical question, there are certain situations where abortion becomes must for a woman.
