"Neighbor Sweeney sums it up, "Best thing about it, it was the Blue Angels. There ain't nothing like 'em. God bless 'em! and hey --that's what America's all about!""

There was an airshow here at our regional airport about 2 months ago. I wasn't there, I was at home...some 12 miles away. Suddenly the loudest and deepest rumbling noise engulfs my house and in a flashback to my childhood I ran outside to see what in the sky was doing this. I'd never seen a B2 in flight before but I must say it was impressive as it passed over my place. No damage, but I could see how it could happen.

There are a few AF bases located around my area. It's commonplace to hear that roar in the sky and see them zooming off. They're an awesome piece of machinery.

A couple months ago the Blue Angels were here in Seattle. They closed off one of the major bridges into Seattle so they could do their practice runs. Talk about traffic nightmares. There's only 3 major arteries running to/from the city.
