Which is exactly why they shouldn't have been given aid in the first place - they could have defaulted months ago instead of us taxpayers footing the bill for them to pay a few more months of their bills. If they can't afford it, they can't afford it.

about 4 blocks from my office they did one of the Extreme Makeover shows. Saw some news trucks going down the street and I looks like the bank is foreclosing on the house.

says there mortgage went from $1200 - $2300

now this is not a high rent district. the house might be work $160K 2 years ago. I don't recall the specifics but I gotta believe they remortgaged. Although the damn taxes would have probably doubled when they did the renovation. We have a really moronic and penalizing tax code when it comes to property taxes.
