Just learned my first civilian lesson.
Contrary to what I've been told the last 5 years, pain is NOT weakness leaving the body. It's just pain. I went for a run earlier. About 3/4 of the way to where I usually turn around at my back started hurting so I figured I'd turn around and come back. It made sense to me to run faster since it was gonna be a short run.
BAD IDEA.
My back started hurting so bad I could barely hobble the last 1/4 mile. That sucked. So I get back in and figure I'll lay down on the floor for a little while.
BAD IDEA.
After about 10 minutes my ankle started itching. I looked down and half my legs were covered with fleas! It would seem Amber's cats have a little problem with that right now.
So, painful back or not, I jumped up and ran to the shower. Now I'm posting from our back porch because I absolutely fucking refuse to go back in there until we get something to kill those disgusting motherfuckers.
So that was my afternoon so far. Awesome.
