The funny thing is they talk about these things like they are new... These things have been around for many years.

Well, as long as we keep making rules to prevent violence in schools, there are going to be tricks to cheat those rules. So clearly, its a fight nobody can win. Thats why we have to start getting clever.

Many of you may or may not be familiar with Sun Tzu's The Art of War . Now, in this, he obviously discusses military tactics. However, it has been used up to this day as a philosophical, as opposed to a military resource.
Sun Tzu talks about how the wise general should never send his force against an enemy's without any real advantage. If the enemy is weaker, then attack. If the enemy is stronger, then retreat. If the enemy is of equal strength, then retreat.

So, what Sun Tzu is basically saying is that you cannot compete without having an advantage. Simply making up rules to counter cleverness of students is basically sending your force to opposition with no strength or weakness. If we can undermine their desire to break the rules, and their desire to be violent, then we're getting the job done without tediously having to go in an endless cycle of rules.

Well, thats my sad attempt at trying to look smart :D
