…yeah, Its sadly very quiet though…(…I don’t think anyone there will mind me saying that…)…but originally I joined a different forum, which I think there were members from here who had migrated there as this forum name sounds familiar…that then seemed to branch off yet again into the one that exists now…and obviously back here again now…so there’ll be lots of ‘originals’ here who I don’t know…as well as any new members…

…the original forum I think was Curious Topics…I know there were quite a few members who had migrated from another site and who knew each other from that but I can’t recall what the site was…when I joined it was 2012 (I think..)..so a long while ago…if I throw some names at you, they might sound familiar…MoonOwl, who is very sadly not with us anymore…bintyonekenobi and Raven….let me think, JonasW and Ninja…Porter Jack, Orici and Panacea…poop as woof and sky blue….those are a few I recall…that’s not to say that members always have the same username in different forums…

…we did try to revive the forum a little while ago…maybe a few years ago…and some did return so it was lovely to catch up but it wasn‘t a reunion that lasted, sadly…

PorterJack is the only name I can remember. Keep in mind, I'm technically new to this forum too compared to a lot of those veteran member

Ammi, the site we migrated from was this one.

I think it was 2013 when a couple of OTz members started Curious Topic and a bunch of us migrated there. After a year or two, the owners stopped paying the website fees and CT was all of a sudden gone one day, so someone started up Curious Plus, which is where Ammi, AuFred and I are coming from now. CP is still going but most of the members have gradually drifted away and there's only a handful of members still posting there now.

Well needless to say, we welcome back all members

I'm working on a growth plan for the forums. I won't lie, in a time of social media, when forums are not the most active, it isn't going to be easy. I'm not giving up this time

…I do think that chat/discussion forums became a thing of the past with the rise of the ‘fast chat’ on sites like Discord…?…but I think after that lulled period, nostalgia starts to kick as well and the timing is right for the return of the forum…for something with a bit more ‘substance’ again and a feeling of community that the fast chat servers don’t always have…I wish you luck, Jordan…it might be easier than you think to build again…
