Are you hosting through GoDaddy or just using them as your DNS?
Right, you do this from the control panel within GoDaddy, you point the Domain Name Server(DNS) to the site location. There's only a minor difference in so doing depending on whether GoDaddy is also the host, which I usually recommend against. If you are hosting the site the first thing I would check is to make sure that the "default" document is set in the control panel. And make sure there isnt a placeholder default document with a higher priority.
