Rob Zombie's Halloween is coming to DVD in a week or two. Should I buy the Unrated Director's Cut, or theatrical version? The theatrical was decent, but I'm a bit nervous/skeptical on how much more nudity and gore the Unrated will have :willy_nilly:

I don't know why everybody thinks its so risky, I don't know how it works though since The Pirate Bay is located in Europe.....

This isn't going to turn into a piracy debate, I've already got a thread for that. I don't care if you wanna pirate movies. It's your risk, not mine. Just keep in mind, don't reveal the information to me, because I can and will report it to the MPAA, and I have before.

Hmmmm, personally, I'd go with the theatrical version. Sometimes the Director's Cut don't end up being all that.

If anything I would rent the Director's cut. It's a hard call tho.

Personally I think that movie as a whole was a piece of shit. No offense to you if you like it, I just think it ruined the whole mysterious side of Michael Myers which made him almost creepy. Pretty much just ruined the series for me.

I only liked it as a stand-alone film. I tried to imagine it as a brand new movie, without the old ones existing. But yes, it completely ruined the old staples. The hiding behind a tree moments, the sheets in Laurie's back yard, seeing from Michael's view, even the mask sucked.

They completely ditched the Thorn storyline as well. Zombie said he wanted to show that Michael was just a serial killer. Bullshit. I really hated how Dr. Loomis died. It ruined the ending for me.

I'm not against people doing drugs, but c'mon dude. He was snorting crushed up pills IN CLASS.

As for the "turning him in" thing, I was telling one of my friends, and she's the one that first said, "Well I'm turning him in! He shouldn't be doing that, and I want the reward money!". I was like, "Well, I don't want him to beat my ass, but if anybody's getting the money, it's me, you greedy bitch. You don't even know the whole story".

So I did it first. But because the school was too stupid to drug test him or something, he got away, and I wasn't any richer.
