Hello June my old friend.

Seems June is always a time of change for me and I assume others. Summer always changes things.

35 years ago I graduated high school.

29 years ago I got married.

2 years ago I moved my office home.

welcome the change because without it, life gets pretty boring
twenty four years I graduated high school
twenty fours plus two days my dad got diagnosed with his melanoma
twenty one years ago we buried him
fifteen years ago I received my first post high school degree (am associates degree)
seven years ago this November I got married...
three years ago this September, got laid off...
its all about perspective....

That's pretty much all in June for me.

Officially the first day of winter here.

first weekend in June is Queens Birthday weekend, last public holiday until the spring.

This is how I feel, minus the kids. I'm a little sad because this is the first summer that I've had to work (I mean grown-up job work, I'm not counting HS jobs). I love the sun and the hot weather and the late nights though!

Just so you know how I feel working on a shift w/ a bunch of younguns who graduated high school nearly a decade after I graduated college...36 years ago, I was born. :24:
