Kim Jong-un is the supreme leader of North Korea. For those who don't know him, well, he looks like a tabby pig. Oh hell, here's the pic:

So, his daily routine include killing here, there, and everywhere. It was even reported that had his ex-girlfriend executed via firing squad!:eek

She was accused of doing porn where in fact she was just singing and dancing. When are the North Koreans gonna say enough is enough? When are they going to stand up and oppose their leader? Are they content with their way of life? Are they content with the starving and killings and terrorism?

It's just a very backwards country with no idea how to properly function. Their society is based on hundreds of years of traditions - and because they don't like to change all of their horrible traditions from the past are still around today.

I'm no expert in this field, but the North Koreans are probably to terrified of what would happen to them to revolt, and rightly so. Precisely because of their leader's actions they won't do anything, because they know that he has no problem with letting the army loose on the population. North Koreans who have a better world view than what their media is telling them (e.g. that not all Americans are murderous barbarians, that they need outside support, etc.) would probably be happy to help an invading force, but as long as no one is going to help them (and that's not going to happen anytime soon) they're not going to do anything.

Most of the North Koreans are very poor. For one to rebel you at least need to have some arms [which they can't get]. Their only hope would be that the military should stage a bloody coup. But even then, it would make little difference because those who get in power would also end up being dictators and that means the poor people would still be down-trodden anyway. Best option for the North Korean's who want freedom would be to leave the country. . .and never return.
