I work with a woman who is really into this sort of stuff. She swears that she herself has encountered seeing ghosts. I personally haven't, but I can't say that I believe or disbelieve due to not ever experiencing.

I never seen one either. I do think they are out there though. Some people can see them, others can't.

I used to live in a plantation home in Texas. We would hear ghosts at night. They would walk around the house like normal. It sounded like someone was cleaning. Cabinets opening and closing. Footsteps up the stairs. The feeling of someone sitting on your bed. It was one of the shittiest times of my life. So yes, I believe in ghosts.

I believe in them and have seen a cpl. I experienced goings on in the home too and so has my son.

Like Boomer, we have had the footsteps on the stairs and I have had the experience of someone sitting on my bed too.

Strangely enough, my son said he has seen things in a certain place in his room. It used to be my room and I have never told him, but I experienced things going on in the same place too, when it was my room!!!

There will always be sceptics and non sceptics. Ppl are entitled to their views on these things, either way.

It does only happen to certain ppl apparently and not others.

I used to have a ghost that would use my bathroom. No joke. It was an old lady.

The women's dorm at the college my sister and I go to is said to be haunted. My room mate and I had something fly off the wall for no apparent reason. My sister was changing in the bathroom with the shower door open. After she pulled her shirt over her head, the door was closed (she was no where near it). At my brother's girlfriend's funeral, an Eeyore that my brother gave her kept falling off of everything they set it on until the put it on her coffin. My sister swears she saw someone walk past the shower at our last house while she was in there.

Are they ghosts? I can't really say but there was no apparent cause for any of them.

Yes, my son had talked to his dead great grandfather and has come up with descriptions of things my husband had as a very yuong child. To the point what he described, my husband had to ask his own father about to see if they even existed.

When I was six, there's no doubt I saw a lady. Dunno how real she is, even though a friend of mine saw the same lady (not knowing I'd seen her as a kid).... exact description of my great grandmother, who had the enormous hands. Not sure what to believe there, although I can sometimes feel I am not alone, and keep finding my eyes drawn to one spot in the room, as though I am looking at someone standing there. Sometimes I can smell someone who cannot be there who has a distinctive smell, but I'm not sure what to make of it.
