:thumbdownIt's very similiar to Apocalypto, but if you don't mind those type of movies then give it a try, it's not epic or the greatest but it'll entertain.

It's not similar at all.
Apocolypto is a great movie.
Let's see...
set in the past
a journey from one place to another, physically and characterically developed.
finding a society which is different and new
Sacrificing and religious stuff
throwing them down.
happy ending.
1) So this movie is also similar to Star wars? How bout King Arthur?
2) So it's similar to lord of the rings?
3) So it's similar to pretty much every movie? How bout Dead Poets Society?
4) LMAO. There are THOUSANDS of movies with that.
5) Lol, what?
6) So because it has a happy ending, it's similar to the 75% of movies that have a happy ending too?
Apocalypto is set in an AZTEC society. And not set NEARLY as far back as 10,000 BC is. For the record.

Movies are too similiar to me, let's just say that I honestly think there has been nothing original or new to me for the past decade.

Of course she does.
It's just wrong is all. :sarcasm
By that train of thought, Cold Mountain is the same as Apocolypto. The Greek tales of Hypolitus, Hercules, Theseus & Odysseus are the same as Apocolypto.
I would argue you are watching the wrong movies. I think Apocolypto for one is a fantastic movie.
And, I think it's pretty original. Now granted I'm not an avid film buff, but I can't think of many other films spoken in the tongue of the Mayan.
What about films like Memento, I watched that again the other day for about the 50th time, and still today its complexity and attention to detail provides me with fresh insights.
You say that for the past decade there has been nothing good or original in the industry, well I argue until the last decade the film industry was 99% stagnant.
I would take films like Memento or Being John Malkovich anyday over the likes of Apocolypse now, Godfather etc..
Do you live under a rock?!
