Happy easter to you too and everyone else. whats everyone doing today. im going over to my parents and eat dinner with my sisters and brother.

We are fixing to start hiding the eggs so the kids can look for them... and then I am gonna put the turkey in... I am making a BIG dinner. I do have to run to julies house today though... Anyways.. it will be a busy day!!

the egg hunt should be fun for the kids. when me and my cousins were kids we had a egg hunt every year and my aunt used to put alot of money in the them. like some eggs could have 5-10 dollers and most had 1 doller bills and alot of change.

Heh, Easter... what a bullshit holiday. For us Protestants, this is the day Christ has risen after his crucifiction and we are forced to attend a church service that lasts almost 8 hours from 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM. But then again, for most people - it's just a stupid bunny hopping around with his eggs.

the bunny is a sign of fertility. Easter is the time for rebirth and growth, Jesus died and was risen again, new life, new hopes, new opportunities, etc... so goes teh story of the easter bunny. Or atleast one of them

Whatever, it just sounds a bit silly that's all. Anyway, the way we celebrate is to say: "Christ has risen!" to anyone and the person has to reply by saying: "Truly he has risen!" It sounds a lot better in Russian, but it's pretty cool in English too.
