Moonie's gallbladder is finally out. They had to do general surgery instead of a laproscopy so recovery time will be longer. She will probably be in the hospital till Wednesday.
Not a fun way to spend a birthday.

Thanks for the update, Poopa. Ouch, that gallbladder must've been pretty bad for them to have to do it the old fashioned way. Poor Moonie...I know that could NOT have been fun.

Yeah, I have mesh in my tummy from when they fixed my hernia a few years ago. They couldn't go through it and the scar tissue so they had to do it the old fashioned way. Whee.

It's ok. I'll live.

Some of the older methods are often better than the new... OK lying but trying to cheer you up.. Glad all is well..
