Happy Birthday Boomerang!!

Thanks again everyone!

I had a wonderful day. My students showered me with gifts and cards. Then after school I went out with several of my work friends and had a blast. Definitely the best birthday I have had in a long time. My momma made it even better by buying me tons of cupcakes from the local specialty cupcake shop to share with everyone. They were delicious!

I talked to my father on the phone last night. It was clear that he forgot my birthday was today. I wasn't upset about it though because I have come to expect that from him. However, when he saw it on facebook I guess he rushed and had flowers sent to the house. They were waiting for me when I got home. I have never gotten flowers before. They are beautiful!
