Handicap Parking

Is is just me that find its to be rather eritating that extremely fat people get to have a handicap sticker just because they are fat. I know that some people actually have a medical problem were they are unable to stop weight gain but I'm talking about people who just ate so much and sat on there ass so much that they weight up to like 400 and 500 lbs. I work at a grocery store and I see this shit all the time and its rather annouying because I have to help them with there shit because they are so overweight.

Second is doesn't it bother anyone that older people that try to park in a handicap spot can even make in between the lines at all, I've seen people who are parked on the diagnol (yes spelled wrong i think) yellow lines and half parked in the parking spot. It scares me to know they are on the road and are driving, I think they are just as bad as a drunk driver because they can't see the lines. Also they drive fast as hell or slow as a turtle and its going to cause a really big accident and I don't want to be in it just because people have gotten to old to drive and don't stop.

I just get iritated when I see perfectly healthy people with the use of all their limbs (but apparently not their brains) park in handicapped spots and when you call the cops they won't do a GODDAMN THING about it because it's on "private property".

Then when you call the landlords they don't do a damn thing until the next day, by that time these offenders are gone for work.

What is the point of this being a federal/state law if the cops won't enforce it?

First off, you are assuming that their only issue is that they're fat. Ill people don't grow telltale horns or a third arm; they could have MS, heart disease, any number of ailments you as a stranger wouldn't know about.
A friend of mine had a debilitating stroke and has a handicap plate, but unless you follow him around, you wouldn't know why he has it. My nephew has Crohn's disease-some days he's perfectly 'normal', but it can knock him for a loop that takes weeks to overcome.
His mother, my sister, kept the handicapped plate, though. Granted, she has arthritis and suffers a great deal of pain sometimes, but I don't think she any longer needs the plates-my nephew no longer lives with her-he has his own house. But she does drive my mother around, who needs a walker.
There are many people who have serious health problems that don't want the plates or placard and that's ok too. But, since they have to have a doctor's permission to get them and they have to be approved, it's not for us to pass judgement when we see what appears to be a 'normal' person getting out of a car with handicap plates.
At the shopping centers around here, the police will ticket any car parked in a designated spot that doesn't have the insignia; otherwise, the owner of the lot has the right to have the car towed or place a warning on it.

If you're fat because you eat too much and sit on your ass, you shouldn't be allowed to get a handicapped sticker, you should have to park your fat-ass all the way in the back, that way you get a workout on the way up to the damn store. Lazy fucks.

My mom would be one of them. My grandma had cancer, so she got a handicapped sticker. After she died, my mom KEPT THE DAMN STICKER, she's perfectly healthy. She just uses it when stores are too crowded. Lazy fuck.

My brother does that too. My g-ma broke her leg last fall and now when my brother goes somewhere he goes to her house to get the handicap thing you hand on ur mirror. The funnt thing is that he really doesnt need it. He's skinny as fuck, just lazy as hell.

Ok after ready all these comments, here's my rant. I think people are unfairly being labelled as lazy, Just because someone is fat dosen't mean the're not disabled! My missus suffers from chronic fatigue syndrome which is so bad sometimes she can't walk down the stairs. As a lot of people with reduced mobility this has made her put on weight as it makes it impossible for her to exercise. But can she get a disabled parking ticket? Noooooo! So if she can't I find it hard to believe that others can just on the basis of being overweight! People ffs put your ignorances and predjucises away and stop judging people as lazy just because they are overweight!:mad

Hey, take a breath and relax. I specifically stated, people like my mom are lazy fuckers. She's fat because she eats and eats and steals OUR food as well. She'll walk by and take food off our plates. But what does she do? Lie and say she's gonna excersize, never does it. Then uses my dead grandma's handicapped mirror-hang thing to get close spots to park in.

Wow, that's not cool. Peter said that his wife had a disorder, and couldn't help but gain weight. Somehow I doubt that you've actually seen his wife (either have I for that matter), so don't go around making fun of people you've never seen.
