No Man’s Sky and Minecraft thrive on procedural content, while games like The Witcher 3 focus on handcrafted detail. Which do you prefer in the long run: endless replayability or carefully designed story-driven worlds?
Although craftsmanship is beautiful and has enormous artistic value, it does not mean that procedural generation is what corresponds to me and what I have the most affinity for being part of my generation, so clearly I prefer procedural generation.
