I am a right old scrooge when it comes to Halloween. I hate dressing up and everything about Halloween to be honest. Unfortunately this yeat my housemates have decided to throw a house party, so I will have to deal with it.
No, we don't really celebrate Halloween anymore. When I was a kid, it was one of my favorite holidays. Nowadays I just don't get down with the whole theme of it. My kids see the masks and costumes and they're afraid to go in their own rooms.
I am forty and I still like to get dressed up. My son thinks, I am silly. But, the kids in my neighborhood like it. I even dress up my little dog, she is a princess.
Nope not this year. I mostly go to a few house parties for Halloween where you would dress up but have decided not to go to anything this year. Ive never really been a big fan of the holiday anyways, I prefer Thanksgiving over Halloween.
I never get dressed in costume for Halloween because I want to be just the way I am. I still like it because it's a fun holiday, however, I don't celebrate it as much as other holidays such as Christmas and Valentine's Day.
