So what are your plans for Halloween this year. Going to a party? Passing out candy? Taking the kids trick or treating? Or do you even celebrate it where you are from?

It's not really celebrated here in Belgium. We do have a thing where kids essentially go trick or treating, but it's at different times in different parts of the country.

I loved it when I was in Canada. Though in Jordan I haven't really seen anything big other than the malls offering kids candy. In Canada, people would love out boxes of candy with the note of "Please take one" I would take a BUNCH! Lol!

Here where we live (TN) they have trick-or-treating for the kids, but I never take my kids because it's just too dangerous. We live in what is considered the "Bible Belt", so all of the churches have their own celebrations for the kids. I guess because it's coming from a church, they consider their candy to be safer! LOL

Here in Arizona it isn't much safer. If at all. But I will still take my son trick or treating on the air force base. Then to the church on base. They always do some cool stuff.

I love Halloween, but I won't be doing anything special this year. I usually go to an adult costume party. I grew to love Halloween when I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area. Halloween is really celebrated there. I would also go all out a decorate the outside of the house. The neighborhood kids loved it.

Now, I live in Southern California and most kids don't go door-to-door anymore. There are plenty of sponsored Halloween parties for kids to attend.

I think that this Halloween I will go to a party with some of my friends. In my country Halloween is a new tradition but most of the young population accepted it and now every year we all have different costumes, play pranks and even decorate our apartments.

That sounds great. I like how it catches on in different parts of the world.

Giving out candy this year. My house is all decorated. Have a scary ghoul on the porch that is about 6 feet tall to scare the kiddies. It even scares me a little too. :eek

We did trick or treating last year so this year we are going to drive to Montgomery and do the zoo boo. It's pretty cold though hopefully it will warm up just a tad later on this week.

I just moved to this apartment a couple of weeks ago, and so far I haven't seen any kids. I bought a bag of candy just in case...

I have to work on Halloween day, so I don't have any plan yet. I think if I get off work early, I will go to the store to get some candies myself. Other than that, I don't have any big plan.

Here in UK we do celebrate it, however I don't personally celebrate it. Why do people celebrate something when they have no idea what it's based upon? I find it pretty strange, but just like Christmas, traditions have taken over so it's just 'tradition' to hand out candy or dress up. May as well still go with the flow, no point being a grouch about it haha. :tooth

Here in Portugal, Halloween is not that popular.
You won't see people dressed up and such, I'll probably just hang out with my friends on some party with the Halloween theme on.
Not much to do here to be honest. :/

I only went trick or treating once in my life when i was a kid. It was fun back in the days but now times have changed and i don't think parents will let their kids out at night anymore (without supervision anyway). I'll probably just sit back and watch a horror movie or two, perhaps have some pumpkin pie

I will be spending my Halloween taking the kids trick or treating. I am always so glad when it is over! Putting kids in costumes and walking around in the cold is not my idea of fun. By the end of the evening the kids have half of their costume off and just want to get candy.
