Halloween Practice

I've decided I want to go as Holly Golightly from Breakfast at Tiffany's, and decided to start early practicing the hair. This is what I came up with today, using no product, and considering I'm NOT a hair person, I'm pretty damn pleased!

(I don't have a little tiara, so I used a bracelet. And I didn't sleep last night, so please excuse the dark circles and bags under my eyes!)

Do you have to spray the shit out of it with hair spray like you do down here? or is not as humid there?

It took me maybe 20 minutes? I wasn't trying as hard as I could have though. Just kind of half-assing it. It was holding pretty well on it's own, and believe it or not, I have one hair and only about ten bobby pins! (I should have counted... I'll regret that tonight!) I did spray it, but I think it would be fine without spray, to be honest.

Go get like a gold hair gel pen thing - the kind where it allows you to comb in the color - and just comb in some gold or some blond or something.

Well, if you look good in bangs anyway, I say go for it. And if you don't like it, it's hair. It'll grow back.

I wound up putting so much spray in it that when I took the pins out, it stayed! :24:

Let me clarify- the back part and the front part. When I took the bump it and the pony tail out, I lost the shape. Still lots of oomph, just no shape.

Not extreme no, she didn't have a lot of bangs... if you don't like it they'll hide in the longer strands when your hair is down again.

looks good, and she can always clip the majority of her bangs back
