hmmm... didn't know you could do that... empty recycle bin, went to hit delete again by mistake and I get this...

all you have to do is make a folder on your desktop named windows, move it to the recyling bin and then attempt to empty the trash, i call bs

the fact that you say you emptied your recyling bin and accidentally hit the button twice and it was attempting to delete your 'windir'

in windows, there is a program that sets system-wide variables - or environment variables. one happens to be windir , which is the short form of "windows directory" which is the location of the windows folder. ( or whatever you decide to call the windows folder in the installation of windows ) ...

exactly, could be 'windows' could be 'winnt' or even some custom name but i wouldn't recommend that.
