some of it looks kind of fake, but others are amazing.

i just don't know if i rather make it or go and see it in real life and take the damn real photo...

I think the impressive part is that he builds it and makes it look so real.
would much rather see a similar place in person, but it takes the illusion away from his art

so if you're this guy, and you're an artist, this idea probably occurred to him before he started doing it.

at that point - where the idea occurred to me- I would've said "Nah - I'm not going to make fake landscapes, I am going to go shoot some real ones."

But to each their own.

That is really awesome. I've always been jealous of people with a knack for art. I can't even fathom how someone could 1. come up with something that awesome and 2. Execute it with such talent.
