The water isn't frozen enough to skate on that, but our mall has an olympic-size skating rink and I'm taking my godson Ebu to teach him how to skate. He's five now, so it's about time for him to start getting into hockey!

ice skating is so much fun! I used to take lessons when I was little, and I'd always love going to the big skating rink at the mall and showing off I miss it, I need to go again soon!

I took lessons for a long time, my sister and I both. She actually competed in the Nationals and was being considered for the Olympic team, but then she threw out her back falling down some stairs... well, regardless, she can't skate that rigorously anymore.

I competed too, but stopped when I was seventeen or so. Wrecks your ankles. Too time consuming. I had a lot of excuses.

But today was fun. Ebu caught on really quick. I'm not really a hockey player, but we'll get his dad and some friends on the ice and they'll show him how it's done.

I use to figure skate too...use to ruin my feet. along with the entire body, bruises everywhere.

I love going ice skating, haven't been for a while. I like going skating at the Alexandra Palace, it's such a beautiful building too with great views over London. This is what it looks like

oooh i went ice skating last year! It was just so cool, after pushing myself along the edge and clinging onto the bar for about two- three rounds i let go and it was so cool! i got the hang of it after the whole "hanging on for dear life" part and was skating like...i actually could! it was brill!
