Guardian Angels: Real Protectors or Wishful Thinking?

Stories of miraculous escapes are often credited to guardian angels. Some believe in personal spiritual protectors, others in coincidence. Do you think guardian angels exist, or is it a comforting story humans tell themselves?

I see guardian angels more as a comforting belief than proven protectors. I’ve noticed that thinking about them can provide reassurance and hope during tough times, even if their existence isn’t scientifically verifiable.

I don't belong to a culture where you get a guardian angel. We have Gods and deities and we can gain favor by worshipping them

I believe the idea of guardian angels is mere wishful thinking. I know angels exist, but I don't buy the idea that each human has their own personal guardian angels. It is just another folklore.
