It goes to show how deluded, unrealistic, and self centered some businessmen can be.

I would say it shows how much sense they have. For all of his redonkulous stupid policies, the moron in chief didn't do much to hamper businesses.

On the other hand, the Obamanation has been hell bent and determined push through the health care BS along with the ridiculous "cap n trade" scheme, 2 things that would severely impact the costs of doing business.

There's a line of thought that says those two threats to business are a key factor keeping employment down because of the extreme uncertainty of what future costs will be.

Hell, I never thought I'd say it but I wish the moron was back in the white house, with only a $500 billion deficit, being upfront with indefinite detention, etc etc instead of the Obamanation with $1.5 TRILLION deficits and pushing for indefinite detention coupled with kangaroo courts and imprisonment.

As crazy as it sounds, I LONG for the days of Bill effing Clinton, because for his many screwups, most of them were easily contained and fixed and did little long term damage.

I've been saying that for a while now... because he at least had an a congress led by Republicans to keep him in check. This is why I'm really hoping for the GOP to take over the House this year, in order to get some checks and balances in place.

Nothing good happens when the same party has control of the White House and Congress

Matters not which party. It is bad news either way

Thats how Paul Krugman convinced me to vote Republican for the first time. :D

The truth is that given the state of American politics, the way the Senate works is no longer consistent with a functioning government. Senators themselves should recognize this fact and push through changes in those rules, including eliminating or at least limiting the filibuster. This is something they could and should do, by majority vote, on the first day of the next Senate session.

Don’t hold your breath. As it is, Democrats don’t even seem able to score political points by highlighting their opponents’ obstructionism.

It should be a simple message (and it should have been the central message in Massachusetts): a vote for a Republican, no matter what you think of him as a person, is a vote for paralysis.

Lets hear it for gridlock. When they're too busy fighting with each other, they can't fuck us. :clap

A friend commented before the election that he was voting for Obama because he knew it would be a disaster result in a backlash that would right the ship for the republicans for years to come. I said he was an idiot because it was obvious the democrats would control the congress. Plus we have short memories. In 6 years it will probably be the same disgust for the republican president again.

Saw a good article which I should try to find about how people should not be surprised at what Obama is trying to do. It was all there for people to see if they had not been so enamored with his hope and change bullshit.

Now all one can do is hope that not much more damage is done before November. Then hopefully the asshat liberals will be smoked out of power.

That was me and you're still full of crap. Did we forget Carter? Nooooooooooooooo, we won't forget Obamamamma either. Unless he makes a hard right (which his ego as well as his lack of ANY executive experience won't allow him too) he will be history either by not being re-elected or politically neutered by Congress under conservative control.

It doesn't matter one iota who the hell got in office. When that shit came down anyone would have been doomed from the get-go.

What I am sure of is Bush would have made the situation even worse that what it is now. The guy was / is a complete moron that couldn't make a decision on his own if his life was at stake.

Not really, any tried and tested political leader and/or business executive would have handled the situation much better. Obamamamma is out of depth by a longshot and he is surround by people who lack any real world experience as well. He is doomed to fail absent quick corrective action.

Bush made all the decisions the fact that you disagreed with them doesn't make him a moron.

Yes it was you. And no I am not full of crap. You lucked out when Brown got elected.

Obama is a narcissist so no worry about him moving to the middle.

You lucked out that Brown got elected. Now get off that pedestal you had to get on due to all that snow :D

Sadly you not kidding. That buffoon took us to the edge allowing the excesses go unchecked. He hurt legitimate business and overall society.

WAAAH, Bush didn't stop people from doing things I don't like WAAAH.

:thumbdown :24:

Its this kind of stupid shit that leaves zero credibility amongst the left for me. For all the good solid reasons to hate the moron in chief, the choice is often made to roll of into ridiculous land and even made up criticisms...
