I've been using Firefox for years and have been quite happy with it but now my interest has been perked a bit by Chrome. Anyone use it now and if so what are your thoughts?

I stopped using FireFox now, its out of date these days, and slow compared to the alternatives.

I use both Chrome and Firefox and I can't choose between them both. Chrome has the ability to stop Rick-Rolls and is faster but just like a paper wall as I can see my desktop sometimes when I'm clicking around.

I tried to but I couldn't really see any additional benefits to what Firefox offered so I went back to Firefox.

No offense people but the only two replies that sorta help are the two above. Springsteen's is the best becaause he says it doesn't make any difference. TG's mentions speed is better and then he throws in Rick-Rolls. I have no idea what a Rick-Roll is.

I could have Googled " Chrome " but the reason I didn't was because I'm the type of person that likes to hear about a product from people I know, love and trust , not from some anonymous individual hiding behind some rock. What I was asking for I guess was it's benefits / shortfalls compared to Firefox instead of hearing things like " I use it ". ;)

I've used it and I like it better than Firefox. It seems to crash less and generally loads pages faster for me. I like the simplicity of having the search and address bar in the same place. I'd definitely give it a try.

Sorry, I was going to answer, but I got distracted by the Rick Roll reference.

Now that I've Rick Roll'd some people, got breakfast, weighed in & cried, I'll answer seriously.

I use Chrome more, I've used to be a FireFox only user, but that was before I learned about Chrome from Bryan. I find it's layout more user friendly & cleaner, it stops pop ups better, doesn't crash on me, and loads faster.

I only use firefox when logging into Facebook on Bryan's account to get Restaurant city ingredients while logged onto my Fb while on chrome.

yeah but thats what off topic is for my dear

But he's never gone off topic on other peoples threads, so we should do the same courtesy for him.... Wait a minute, he does too!:24:

So far I don't like it because I can't find a way to have my toolbar set up like FF. That's one feature I really like. I have to be honest though. I haven't had much time to look at it and won't until later cuz I have a shitload of things I gotta do.
