Google Chrome profile?

When I open google chrome, a pop up appears which says "Your profile could not be opened correctly. Some features may be unavailable. Please check the profile exists and you have permission to read and write its contents"

I don't know what this means but it only appeared last night and today my Internet has been running really slow and pages have not been loading properly. Can anyone shed some light for me, it's driving me insane.

I did a Google Search and it seems a recent update has created this problem.. You can search for it yourself and see

Search for "Chrome Your profile could not be opened correctly"

You may have to be patient while they fix the issue or change to another browser. Your choice..

Ok thank you. It was taking ages to load so I couldn't actually get an answer from google myself, the whole page wasn't loading so I was getting part stories. Thanks :thumbup

It's called sarcasm my dear and I use it A LOT. I'm surprised you hadn't picked up on that already! I'll use :sarcasm as a heads up in future
